Blueberry Honeydew Smoothie

Hello hydration! This smoothie was developed after buying too much honeydew melon and my kids deciding they don't like it anymore (as of the day prior, ugh). I decided I would try freezing it to see how it held up in smoothies. With such a mild sweet flavor, I thought it might compliment a blueberry based smoothie, and act almost like ice cubes, and boy, it sure does!


This is the perfect smoothie for hydrating your body first thing in the morning, after a workout or when your kids come in and need a quick snack after playing outside. While the ingredient list may seem like a unique combination, don't knock this smoothie until you try it! Hope you enjoy this smoothie as much as we do!


Blueberry Honeydew Smoothie

( makes 1 16 oz smoothie)


Ingredients:


· ¾ cup Blueberries

· ¾ Honeydew melon, frozen

· 1/2 Banana

· 1 cup Coconut milk

· ½ cup Water

· 1 Lime juiced

· ½ Persian cucumber

· 1 small Sprig fresh mint

· 1-2 tbsp White chia or hemp seeds


Directions:


1) Blend all ingredients and enjoy!
