Chocolate Covered Cherry Smoothie

Good morning friends and welcome to a three day weekend! Today I have a decadent, nutrient dense and luxurious smoothie to share. This smoothie is packed with the superfood goodness of raw cacao, cacao nibs, maca and toasted almond butter. With hints of fresh mint, spinach and antioxidant-rich cherries, you will be buzzing with energy and pinching yourself to make sure this chocolatey drink is really as healthy as I say it is...it's just that good!


Chocolate Covered Cherry Smoothie (makes one 20 oz smoothie)


Ingredients:


· 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

· ½ cup coconut water

· 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I like Sunwarrior)

· 1 tsp maca powder

· 1 Tbsp raw cacao

· 1 Tbsp cacao nibs

· 1 ½ cups frozen cherries

· ½ frozen banana

· 1-2 Tbsp almond butter

· Small handful fresh mint

· 2 giant handfuls spinach


Directions:


1) Add ingredients to your blender in order listed, and blend until smooth.

2) Enjoy!
