Blackberry & Orange Gluten Free Scones

There is nothing better that the smell of something baking in the house on a chilly fall/winter morning. Here is a delicious and quick recipe you can make for the whole family. Pairs perfectly with a cozy cup of coffee, cocoa, or tea. Enjoy!

Ingredients:


•1 cup almond meal (I used nut pulp from making almond milk)

•1 cup gluten free rolled oats

•1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

•zest and juice of 1 orange

•8 Tbsp grass fed butter or coconut oil, melted

•1 egg

•1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

•1 tsp vanilla extract

•1 cup fresh blackberries


Directions:

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2) Combine all ingredients, shape into scones, and place on parchment lined baking sheet.

3) Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown on tops of scones.

4) Enjoy!
